Ta 20 letnia szwedka zdobyla 2-gie miejsce w Idolu 2007 ale pomimo tego, że nie wygrała, jej kariera potoczyła się dużo lepiej niż kariera laureatki, Marie Picasso. Wygląda na to, że lepiej jest zacząć karierę muzyczną jako finalista(ka) a nie laureat(ka) Idola a to dlatego, że laureat prosto z gali jedzie do studia nagrań i nagrywa te utwory, które są gotowe i czekają na któregoś z wygranych. Amanda zaś miała czas na zarówno odpoczynek po wyczerpującym konkursie jak i współtworzenie swojego pierwszego krążka.

Amanda urzekła mnie swoim oryginalnym zachrypniętym głosem oraz tym, że ma swój styl zarówno jeśli chodzi o wygląd jak i to, że jest świetna na scenie. W jednym z odcinków Idola Amanda zaśpiewała Suspicious minds Elvisa Presleya i od tamtej chwili czułam, że będzie z niej świetna artystka.

Niedawno wydała debiutancką płytę Killing My Darlings, która jest znakomita. Jej gatunek to ROCK oraz INDIE.

We wtorek w końcu zobaczę Amandę Jenssen live na koncercie w China Teater w centrum Sztokholmu. Mam nadzieję, że da z siebie wszystko.
